Pros: Quality band + DJ sets, relaxed atmosphere, dancing for the girls, sport for the boys
Cons: Long wait at the bar, long queues at the door after 8pm

Good for: Relaxed drinks during the day, or a night on the town

Music:
Fri/Sat - live band & DJ playing the latest as well as the odd classic
Sun - chillout sessions with acoustic band & DJ from noon

Cover Charge: N/A
Cloak room: Yes (upstairs)
Drink Prices: Standard $7.50 basic spirits (TBC)
Drink types: Wide range of local and imported beers, wine list, cocktails, spirits

Dress Code:
Boys - Jeans and tee is fine, but nothing daggy or baggy. No thongs.
Girls - Pretty much anything goes, but no need to go all out (although some still do!). Anything from jeans and a nice singlet to a cute party dress.

Layout:
  • Medium sized dancefloor with alternating band and DJ
  • raised lounge with comfy seating,
  • long bar with generous standing room with high bench tables and bar stools
  • open air courtyard which operates as a beer garden during by day and a smokers area by night
  • Cloakroom and toilets upstairs
What we thought: Very popular during the day with sports loving boys watching the latest on the big screens. As the sun goes down, and the band starts up, the dancefloor quickly fills with happy and friendly 20-somethings. Drinks are reasonably priced and the bar staff are friendly, but it can take a while to be served, so buy two!

Hints & tips:
Get there early! Especially if there's footy on.
Second set of ladies toilets tucked away in a corner of the dancefloor.
Girls, be prepared to queue with the boys - no preferential treatment with these bouncers.
